Performer wanted to play Gerry Anderson character (creator of Thunderbirds)
I am a student from Stockport College currently studying a ND Media Production course. My next project entails 'Live TV' in which I am directing my own 30 minute show, which is going out live around the college. It is also going towards my final grade.
I am on the look out for a performer. The concept of the project is a 30 minute broadcast with the name 'Time Tunnel TV'. It involves the presenter taking us back through time to visit the life of famous people either dead or alive. I am visiting 'Gerry Anderson' (creator of "Thunderbirds"). So this is why I have put on the post for puppetry but if your act is impressive please do not hesitate to contact me as it is versatile and would use any type of act.
The show has two slots where the performer is required to sing. One is at the beginning just after the presenter introduces the show and the slot is four minutes. Then there is another slot at the end which is only two minutes long (this could be stretched to four minutes also).
The show will be filmed in our broadcast studio and the job includes no pay or travel expense fees. However you will be supplied with a DVD copy of the full show and a great experience of filming a live show.
The date in which my show will be filmed hasn't yet been verified by my tutors but I will find out as quick as I can. I think it will be between 24th of November - 5th December on either a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of those two weeks.
