Short student film, studio based but with outside locations
Short student film, studio based but with outside locations. Based around the urban legend of 'The babysitter and The man upstairs'. Other inspirations come from 'The twilight zone and Creepshow'.
Filming in December 2008. Three main roles to fill, Babysitter, Man upstairs, Narrator.

Babysitter
Females, aged 18 to 24 from the United Kingdom
Main character of story. Babysitter in the urban legend. Playing age must be between 18 - 22, or convincing as a student. Preferably brunette, although looks are fully negotiable depending on performance. Has to be able to act convincingly scared.

Man Upstairs
Males, aged 18 to 35 from the United Kingdom
Villain of the story. Plays the man upstairs, or the caller, in the urban legend. Mainly voice-over role although will feature in the film towards the end of the story - as is usual with the urban legend. Physical appearance is negotiable although someone tall and of medium build would be preferred. Should be able to sound threatening, and act in the same manner.

Narrator
Any gender, aged 18 to 30 from the United Kingdom
Role entirely filmed in a studio set. Plays the narrator and tells the story at different times throughout the film. Has to have a good on screen charisma and ability to communicate with the audience. Should also be well articulated.
